Spring has finally sprung - the daffodils are out, and the lambs are on their way! What better way to keep the kids entertained, than to pop over to the Rare Breeds Centre for some Farm-tastic fun.
So, come outside, enjoy the fresh air, and let the children run off all that excess energy.
We’ve got so much planned for the Spring, that you’ll need more than just a day… just don’t forget your wellies!
Within our beautiful 100 acre farm, you can meet and pet the friendly farm animals, visit our Creepy Crawly World (if you dare!), play in our indoor and outdoor playgrounds, zip wires and hill fort, ride on the Big Red Trailer, and for the outdoor adventurers amongst you, you can buy a farm trail map from our shop for just 50p each, and collect trail rubbings from around the whole farm.
If you’re lucky, you might also be able to take part in our Lambing! We are hoping to welcome our cute new arrivals from the 18th March, for about two to three weeks.
Then, over the Easter weekend (Friday 25th – Monday 28th March) there’s plenty of Egg-cellent fun to be had, with choccy hunting, the Easter Bunny, and our special panto ‘The Tortoise & the Hare’.
All included in the usual great value price of your day ticket.
You can catch our Falconry Displays every day at 2.30pm, as well as taking part in our famous and hilarious Pig Racing at 3.15pm, every day from the Easter Weekend.
And, of course don’t forget to treat yourself to a yummy home-made cake in our Granary Restaurant, where you can also feed the children with our new, healthy and fun lunchboxes, or some hearty, homemade hot food.
Until 24th March, we are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30am-4.30pm (closed on Mondays) and tickets cost just £6.50 each.
