JD Wetherspoon confims new Kent pub - at Haven’s Kent Coast Holiday Park at Allhallows on the Hoo Peninsula
Pub giant Wetherspoon has confirmed it is to open its latest outlet - at a Kent holiday park.
The firm is extending its partnership with holiday firm Haven - unveiling four new pubs at its parks.
And among them is the Kent Coast Holiday Park - formerly known as the Allhallows Holiday Park - on the Hoo Peninsula.
It will be welcoming the on-site Spoons, to be called The London Stone. Haven says it has invested around £1.35 million in the pub.
Opening in March, other pubs will open in Lincolnshire, Devon and Northumberland. In total, Haven says it’s invested £6.7m in its expansion of its partnership with the pub giant.
Haven has pursued a significant investment in its parks over recent years - saying it has invested £100m during 2024.
Over the past 18 months, other significant investments at its Kent Coast park include an outdoor Adventure Village, entertainment Showbar and expanded arcade, as well as a new modern Yacht Club.
Haven already has similiar deals in place with the likes of Burger King, Papa Johns, Millie’s Cookies, Slim Chickens and Chopstix in its bid to win more custom.
Simon Palethorpe, Haven’s chief executive, said: “The opening of The London Stone at Kent Coast reflects our ongoing efforts to grow and enhance our food and beverage partnerships and offerings, and we look forward to bringing this experience to even more locations across the UK for our guests and holiday homeowners to enjoy.”
John Hutson, CEO of JD Wetherspoon, added: “Our pub at Primrose Valley [in North Yorkshire] has proven a great success and we are confident that the four new pubs will be welcomed by guests and owners.”
Since opening in February 2024, the Wetherspoon pub The Five Stones at Primrose Valley - the first in its partnership with Haven - has already seen over 168,000 draught pints poured, 25,000 bottles of beer and cider served, and nearly 200,000 soft drinks enjoyed.
The London Stone at Allhallows will be open to holidaymakers and park home owners only.
