Tickets on sale for the Christmas at Bedgebury 2025 light trail
Tickets for a popular Christmas trail featuring more than one million twinkling lights are now on sale.
It might feel too early to start thinking about the festive season, but the highly anticipated Christmas at Bedgebury event often sells out, so you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on tickets.
This year’s event, hosted at the Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, is set to be particularly special as it marks 100 years since Kew’s conifer collection was relocated to the Goudhurst country park.
In 1925, the Forestry Commission partnered with the Royal Botanic Gardens to take the trees out of London to protect them from pollution, choosing the then-privately owned estate at Bedgebury as the collection’s new home.
The light trail, which returns to the park in November, will include colourful new installations, including the Light as a Feather, Floating Candles and Choir of Trees displays.
There will also be seasonal soundscapes to coincide with the artistic light displays and a chance to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas as you stroll along the outdoor trail.
The event also sees a number of pop-up food and drink stalls selling spiced winter warmers, hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows dotted around the park.
A similar trail at Leeds Castle, near Maidstone, is also set to return this year, with tickets going on sale tomorrow (Friday, April 25) here.
This festive season, the trail, which takes visitors around the castle grounds, will include new installations with neon trees and light meadows.
The Christmas at Bedgebury and Christmas Lights at Leeds Castle trails will be open from Friday, November 21 until New Year’s Eve. You can book tickets to Bedgebury now by clicking here.
Adult tickets for the Bedgebury event start from £18, child tickets start from £12. You can also purchase a family ticket bundle, starting from £57.
