It's the last weekend before lots of kids in Kent return to school following the half term break.

Real owls are swooping into a Kent attraction which is being transformed into a haunted house on Friday and Saturday. Explore the museum with Mother Crawe’s feathered friends and help lift The Crows’ Curse. Plus, complete the trail successfully for your chance to win an Amazon Fire tablet!

You can also meet some of Mother Crawe’s mischievous feathered friends in the Explorers and Collectors Gallery for free between 11am and 3pm whilst regular pumpkin carving and potion making classes are also taking place.

Creepy Creepy Crawlies, Shorne Woods Country Park near Gravesend

Pull on your wellies and head to Shorne Woods to get up close with a selection of creepy crawlies. The event will include an informative talk from a local bug expert as well as the opportunity to make crafts in the venue hire room. It's the final weekend of Kent Life's Halloween fun. The heritage farm park has been transformed for the spooky season. There’s pumpkin carving, creepy cuddle corner, spooky farm rides and daily fancy dress competitions. Nine days of frightfully good fun by the sea ends this Sunday ahead of Halloween.

New for 2019 is a family friendly maze for the brave and not so brave, there’s also ghoulish party games, a devilish disco and a variety of spooky crafts and activities to take part in too. Dressing up is encouraged and alongside a host of rides is the Dreamland Ark, where animal lovers can enjoy a special creepy crawlies experience meeting spiders, reptiles and more.

Broadditch becomes Broadwitch at Halloween with fangtastic fun on the farm for its family-friendly daytime events which are all happening this weekend.

The Freaky Forest, Bone Yard and Boo Bungalow are among the attractions suitable for children with pumpkin carving workshops also available to book. Tickets for all of the daytime events in 2019 are now available to buy with ticket packages available for families who wish to participate in more than one event.
