Broadstairs Food Festival, Victoria Gardens

A fun and food-filled weekend for all the family is on offer in Broadstairs this weekend.
A vast range of local food and drink from more than 100 stalls will be available along with story telling, craft sessions and face painting for younger visitors. This year's festival promises something for all ages across the entire weekend. Learn more here.
Tonbridge Talks Festival, Tonbridge
Friday, October 4 until Sunday, October 6
The threat of climate change and how to live sustainably are among the topics up for discussion at the second Tonbridge Talks Festival.
Authors, artists, campaigners and explorers have been brought together for the weekend - with plenty of workshops, events and activities for families to enjoy.

Tenterden Folk Festival
Running until Sunday, October 6
Music, morris dancing and a live procession through the town will be among the attractions at this year's Tenterden Folk Festival. The muddy obstacle course which will have you jumping, swinging, wading and crawling your way through Kent’s toughest military obstacles is back this weekend and once again bringing with it a course especially for juniors. Cranbrook Apple Fair, Cranbrook High Street
Saturday, October 5
This notoriously eccentric annual event returns this weekend with a Viking and Hippies theme. Stalls, stilt walkers, street food, apple pressing and live music will make up the entertainment with everyone from buskers to morris dancers joining in the fun. The event runs from 10am until 4pm on Saturday.
Apple and Cider Fayre, Kent Life, Sandling near Maidstone
Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6
Up to 35 varieties of apple will be on sale at Kent Life over the weekend - many hand picked from the attraction's historic orchards. Families can watch traditional apple pressing, enjoy demonstrations and tours, watch morris dancers (Sunday only) and take part in apple-themed crafts across the weekend with Kent Life's favourite attractions including the Cuddle Corner and Tractor Rides also open. The Big Dog Walk, Leeds Castle
Sunday, October 6
Take your family and your four-legged friend on a very special 2.5 mile walk through the gorgeous castle grounds to raise money for Guide Dogs. Registration opens at 10.30am for an 11am leave. Refreshments available and there is free parking available at Burberry Lane (not the main entrance to the Castle). Each dog is asked to raise a minimum of £35 which is the cost of one guide dog harness.
