Falconry of the Medieval Kings, Dover Castle
Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6
Join the medieval falconers on the palace green and watch incredible displays of hawks, owls and falcons in flight.
The displays will showcase the art of training, exercising and hunting with birds whilst also explaining to visitors some very turbulent tales of the early medieval monarchs.
The weekend-long event is included in the entry price to Dover Castle but all visitors must pre-book a date and time to come along to allow for social distancing.

Go Ape, Leeds Castle and Bedgebury Pinetum
Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7
If you're on the lookout for socially distanced adventures, then an outing high up in the trees could be ideal for the kids.
Both of Kent's Go Ape sites have reopened for bookings, welcoming families back in smaller group sessions to allow for plenty of social distancing.

Wonder Factory, Bluewater Shopping Centre

Have you caught the pool of 65,000 marshmallows at Bluewater?
The latest selfie-style attraction has opened for a three-month visit at the shopping centre and weekend tickets are available.
Ticket holders going to Wonder Factory can explore a range of unusual original backdrops and eye-catching installations from colourful confetti-filled spaces and a mirrored space-themed room, to a touch-sensitive light wall.

Bus Rally, Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway

The annual bus rally is being held this Sunday at New Romney Station and a nostalgic train journey to the display is a perfect combination for an outing.
Access to the bus rally is via pre-booked tickets from Hythe to New Romney where more than 30 vintage busses, coaches and taxis are expected to be on display in the car park.
Carriages are split into compartments separated by Perspex and visitors seated in family groups meaning that there is no need to wear a mask when travelling. Social bubbles can be seated together in combinations up to 4 adults and 2 children.

Classic Car Display, Hawley Garden Centre near Dartford
Sunday, September 6
The popular car display at Hawley Garden Centre is returning this weekend. There have been almost 60 cars and motorbikes on show in the past few years ranging from the very old to the very new!
The event takes place between 10.30am and 3.45pm on Sunday.
Entry is free however organisers ask that you still book a ticket online to show your interest and ensure that they can control visitor numbers.

Sittingbourne Steam Railway
Sunday, September 6
Trains are running every Sunday throughout September and services have been rearranged to allow for extra space and social distancing.
Carriages for the 75 minute round-trip journey cost £20 and are suitable for a family of six. There are three services a day - each with 12 compartments available to book which must be done in advance.
