The Beach at Bluewater in Greenhithe, Kent, opens on Saturday, July 20
The Beach is back!
There's no need to go all the way to the coast from this weekend, when one of Kent's biggest shopping centres brings back its summertime attraction.
A sandy beach, water to take a dip in, fairground rides, games and all the traditional refreshments will be on offer in a specially constructed seaside replacement at The Village car park.
It opens for the first time on Saturday (July 20).
And those behind The Beach at Bluewater Shopping Centre says this year's spectacle will be bigger and better than ever before - with exciting new rides to tempt thrill seekers into this theme park like no other.
But for those wishing to avoid the thrills and spills of the fairground, a packed programme of entertainment is also being included for families.
There will be Punch and Judy shows, pirate treasure hunts, a teddy bears picnic and circus and bubble workshops to get everyone into the holiday spirit.
The Beach, which is back for its third summer at the shopping centre, is open seven days a week from noon until 9pm and admission is £3 but rides and games require tokens at an extra charge.
It will remain on the outdoor car park until September 8 when the majority of children have returned to school.
