Keeping the 13-plus crowd happy for six weeks of summer can be a tough gig.

We have some ideas to tempt teenagers out of their bedrooms.

Cycling

With 3km of tarmac for road bikes, 6km of mountain bike track and 330m for BMXs, Cyclopark, near Gravesend, will keep any adrenaline-seeking junkie entertained.

There is also a skate park, parkland and play areas for younger children.

Driving

Want to try your hand at driving before you’re 17?

Indoor climbing

Head to the world’s largest Clip ‘n Climb for an action-packed arena where climbing meets theme park.

You can test your strength with 33 climbing walls of varying difficulty and size. Or are you brave enough to take on the stairway to heaven or face the vertical drop slide?
