Thomas the Tank Engine at Spa Valley Railway
The nation's favourite little blue engine is steaming into the Spa Valley Railway this weekend.
Tickets are on sale for Thomas the Tank Engine's visit to the Tunbridge Wells attraction.
Thomas and his friends will be spending this Saturday and Sunday (October 6 and 7) on the Kent line.
Families will be able to enjoy a ride behind a real steam engine, shake hands with the Fat Controller, meet Rusty and Dusty and enjoy some Thomas-themed activities.
The little blue engine will spend most of the day at his 'Ffarquhar Station' to ensure he can meet everyone, but organisers says his steam and diesel friends will take it in turns to pull the special trains to and from Tunbridge Wells West.
Attractions at Tunbridge Wells West are open between 10.15 and 4pm will include face painting and temporary tattoos, Thomas films and vintage penny machines.
These can be visited at any time during your visit but if travelling on the last two trains of each day passengers should visit the attractions at Tunbridge Wells West first before taking their train ride as they will be closed when these trains return.
A Fat Controllers Tea Party train is also running on the final departure of each day and there is an additional charge for children on this train with the fare including a party box. Adults however still pay the standard fare.
Tickets, available in advance range from £15 for an adult and £10 for a child. Tickets bought on the day are more expensive - but advanced booking is strongly recommended by organisers as these trains do sell out fast.
