For the Love of Bears Salvation Army Hall, Hythe

Suitable for anyone aged five and older, head to Hythe for this audio-visual talk about the forests and lakes which are home to the European brown bear and the Polar bear. Tea and biscuits will be available and the evening runs from 7.30pm until 9.45pm.

Children's Book Festival the Knole House, Sevenoaks

Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26

There's lots going on at the Knole's book festival for kids as authors and illustrators host workshops, story-tellings and book signings. Each workshop costs £5 per person. Authors including Lauren Child (Charlie and Lola) and Chris Riddell (UK's Children Laureate) will also be hosting free signings!
