Having a ball?

It can be noisy and chaotic but the kids love it!

Soft play is always a reliable go-to if the weather forecast is poor. A run down of some of Kent's soft play centres can be found here.

Strike it lucky!

We might not be striking it lucky with the weather but there is still fun to be had.

If the whole family want to get involved you might want to consider a game of bowling. Here are some of the main alleys you can find across the county.

And finally...

There is plenty taking place in and around the county which we've featured on My Kent Family that is often well suited to a rainy day.

We look back at three of the best for wet weather play here:

* The BFG in Pictures exhibition is taking place at Canterbury's The Beaney. There are indoor craft activities for families too.

* Bluewater's new Dinosaur Trail opens for the school Easter break and is running at the centre until June. Gravity has also now opened a trampoline park at the centre for added indoor fun!

* Little Street in Maidstone opened last year and has been extremely popular with families. Creating miniature worlds for kids - all play is indoors but pre-booking is advised.
