Have a paw-fect day out when one of Kent's biggest animal rescue centres opens its doors to families.

The RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre will be holding its annual Summer Fair and Fun Dog Show this Saturday (June 10).

Animal lovers are invited to attend the event to raise much needed funds for the centre which last year rehomed a staggering 675 animals, including dogs, cats, birds and rabbits.

There will be a host of attractions at the event including a ‘temptation’ alley, agility, stalls, refreshments, a grand draw and more.

All the money raised from the event will go towards paying for the care of all the animals at the centre.

Becca Williams, Animal Centre Manager said: “It’s always great to catch up with our supporters, and many of them bring their rescue dogs and it’s just wonderful to see all these animals thriving as a result of being in their loving new homes.”

The event runs from 10.30am until 4.30pm and entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children aged five to 16.

The centre can be found just off the M20 at junction four, in Castle Way, Leybourne, ME19 5HW.
