Pokemon Go event this Sunday at Howletts Wild Animal Park
Your family can attempt to be Pokemon Master when a Kent attraction becomes the first in the county to host a lure event this weekend.
From 11am until 3pm this Sunday at Howletts Wild Animal Park, lure modules will be placed on Pokéstops, located in real world locations around the park enabling fans of the game to catch rare Pokémon, whilst learning about the park’s rare and endangered animals.
Managing director Bob O’Connor said: "We’re delighted to be the first visitor attraction in Kent to host a Pokémon GO lure event.
"For trainers who enjoy Pokémon battles, we’ve got four gyms spread across the park and players running short on supplies, can restock using our 12 Pokéstops."
Visitors taking part in the lure event will not only be able to fill their Pokédex but could also win Howletts annual memberships for a family of four by uploading pictures of the Pokémon they have caught in the park to the attraction's Facebook page.
The 100 acre wild animal park is home to the largest herd of African elephants in the UK, as well as western lowland gorillas, big cats, small cats, black rhino and many more endangered species.
