Paloma Faith and Fat Freddy’s Drop to perform at Dreamland as part of this year’s Margate Summer Series
Singer-songwriter Paloma Faith is set to visit a Kent venue as part of her latest album tour.
The BRIT Award winner is the next artist to visit the county as part of this year’s Margate Summer Series, a string of outdoor concerts at the town’s vintage fairground, Dreamland.
The musician, best known for hits like Only Love Can Hurt Like This and Never Tear Us Apart, is currently promoting her most recent album, the Glorification of Sadness.
The record, which is the artist’s sixth studio album, was released in February and reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart.
The 43-year-old singer first rose to fame with the release of her debut single, Stone Cold Sober, in 2009.
Since then, she has earned five BRIT Award nominations, including a win for British Female Solo Artist in 2014, and five Top 10 singles.
For her gig at Dreamland, Paloma will be joined by fashion expert and TV personality Gok Wan.
The How to Look Good Naked guru will be warming up the crowd with a DJ set on the Scenic Stage.
Paloma Faith will be at Dreamland on Friday, August 16. Book tickets online here.
The following day, the live music continues as New Zealand soul group Fat Freddy’s Drop will be heading to Margate for Down By the Sea.
The one-day festival features a stacked line-up of funk, soul and reggae acts, including Gentleman’s Dub Club, David Rodigan, the Herbaliser Band, Nubiyan Twist and DJ Vadim.
