The sessions are taken by teachers, life coaches and sports coaches including

Canterbury GC professional Danny Maude, who is also a high performance coach and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner.

He says the camps not only help children develop more confidence they also improve their communication skills.

He added:"The camp has actually been designed on the feedback we've had from parents - parents saying they realise their kids have got loads of potential but when it comes to exams and things like that they mess it up.

"They lose their memory, they're really nervous and they forget everything.

"We try to give them tools and strategies that they can use on a daily basis to access their potential."

The range of sports and activities on offer include football, netball, golf, martial arts and yoga as well as music and arts and crafts.

Mr Maude added: "The whole idea of the week is to put on an event that is really entertaining, the point being that kids are going to respond to entertainment."

Sessions run from 9.30am-4pm each day and the cost is £45 per day or £225 for the week.
