Maze Moon’s maize mazes in Maidstone and Rainham to open for summer 2024
Two huge maize mazes are reopening for the summer season.
The sites, which open in Maidstone and Rainham this week, include themed mazes, puzzles and PYO flowers.
The event is organised by Maze Moon, the same team behind the much-loved autumn Pumpkin Moon pumpkin patches, and will start welcoming visitors from Friday, August 2.
Both mazes are a similar size of around two acres, but each has a different theme for this year.
The Rainham site, located at Lower Rainham Road near Riverside Country Park, will be enchanting visitors with its magical maze.
The Spellbound Gobbling Goblins challenge will see guests try to escape the wicked witch’s hex as they twist and turn through tricks and illusions, all while trying to solve the riddles and find the potion.
In Maidstone, things will be taking a swashbuckling turn.
The Blackbeard’s Treasure maze, on Old Chatham Road, has a pirate theme and young buccaneers will need to follow the map and figure out clues to help uncover gold and silver galore.
The farm also has a field of sunflowers and, for £1 per stem, visitors can pick their own flowers to take home.
Each maze costs £4 per person and under 2s go free.
The mazes will be open on Friday, August 2, Thursday, August 8 and Thursday, August 15 from 10am to 4pm.
There’s no need to book in advance, simply turn up on the day and pay at the gate.
