Free VE Day 75 poster to colour in ahead of Friday, May 8 bank holiday
VE Day celebrations will be taking part in gardens, on doorsteps and in living rooms this year as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
Planned events, street parties, parades of veterans and special services across Kent and up and down the country have had to be abandoned in light of social distancing rules and the bank holiday, which was moved to this Friday (May 8) especially to mark the occasion, will need to be spent at home instead.
But if you've plans to hang out the bunting and mark VE Day 75 in lockdown - perhaps with your own family garden party, are using it as a home school lesson to teach the children about the Second World War or plan to tune into the Queen's address which is being broadcast at 9pm - the same time as her father King George VI made a radio address marking victory in Europe - then we've something to help you on your way.
To mark VE Day 75 we've produced a special free poster which could serve as a fantastic decoration for your home. Scroll down to download and print a high resolution version.
A full colour version of the poster will be available in KM paid-for newspapers this week for you to stick in your window or on your door or even keep if you're putting together items to build up a family coronavirus time capsule.
But there is also a black and white here for you or your children to colour in. Perhaps you could even print a few out, grab some string or ribbon and make some bunting, hang them in your windows for passing neighbours or use them as part of your own VE Day decorations.
