Ale and Cider Festival, Kent & East Sussex Railway, Tenterden

Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15

A wide range of real ales, ciders and perry will be available at Tenterden Town Station and on some train departures from 10.45am.

An unforgettable Father's Day weekend is promised at Groombridge Place.

Free with admission will be two amazing performances each day by the Squibb Motorcycle Display Team which will showcase motorcycle aerobatic stunts in the show arena to choreographed music and live commentary.There will also be a display of classic cars and vintage vehicles.

The high-octane events are included in admission to Groombridge this Saturday and Sunday where other attractions include the longest Tree Top Walkway in the country, Crusoe's World adventure play and giant tree swings and family next swings.

Families will also be able to enjoy food from the barbecue and food stalls and there will also be a beer tent.

A Celebration Weekend, Walmer Castle and Gardens

Walmer Castle’s grounds will take on the atmosphere of a garden fete this weekend when groups join the English Heritage garden team to lay on a host of outdoor activities to keep all the family entertained. There will be lessons in conservation with Dover and Deal Beekeeping Society, the Butterfly Conservation Society and Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory and there will be clay modelling workshops and plants to buy.

Classic cars in the stunning surrounds of Hever Castle together with a myriad of food options could be the perfect way to spend Father's Day.

There will be supercars on display as well as fun activities for children. The two-day event is supported by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club and Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain with a stunning selection of Alfa Romeos on display on Saturday and Ferraris on Sunday. On Sunday, June 16 a F1 show car will also be on display and for photos.

The 25th anniversary classic car show is taking place at the Rare Breeds Centre this Sunday. Featuring a range of vehicles to motorbikes, magnificent and historic steam engines and perhaps a tractor or two, there will be plenty for visitors to see alongside the centre's regular animal-themed attractions. The Austin Seven Rally returns to Bewl Water on Father's Day.

Open to pre-1972 cars, commercials and motorbikes, the rally offers the chance to see some of the finest examples of these classics in the area. There will also be an opportunity to snap up spare parts at the auto jumble!
