The interactive experience opens on Saturday, February 18 and will be at the museum until Sunday, April 16. Find out more here.

The walkthrough is aimed at young children and tells the charming stories of Peter Rabbit using immersive set designs and hands-on activities.

The exhibition comes from Frederick Warne and Co, who first published the Tale of Peter Rabbit in 1902.

Frederick Warne and Co were one of six publishers that Beatrix Potter submitted her story to and, despite rejecting the book at first, they eventually agreed to publish the Tale of Peter Rabbit if the illustrations were drawn in colour.

After the success of the first Peter Rabbit story, the publisher, now part of Penguin Random House UK, went on to release an additional 22 books by the author and illustrator over their 40-year partnership.

This new interactive exhibition based on the beloved character gives kids a chance to crawl under the garden gate, hide in a watering can and find their reflection in the pool - activities that are all found in the Peter Rabbit stories.

There are also plenty of photo opportunities for parents along the way.

The exhibition is free to enter, however The Beaney suggests a £3 donation upon entry.
