Topsy Turvey Theatre bring everyone’s favourite guinea pig, Christopher Nibble, in his latest adventure. Christopher and his best friend Posie have been busy growing plants in their garden but six pet caterpillars have disappeared without a trace. There's storytelling, puppets and original music. 2. Medway Eagles Fundraiser

Make mum a hand decorated wind chime as a special Mother's Day gift in the Squires Room, and, if you're feeling flush, treat her to lunch or a cream tea at the Mote Café. Mums can also enjoy a touch of luxury with a hand massage. It costs £2 per chime, while stocks last, between 11.30am and 3.30pm, and normal admission costs.

5. Cream Tea

Treat mum to a special day out on the railway with a cream tea, served on the 3.35pm steam train from Tenterden Town Station. 6. Afternoon Tea

7. Mother's Day Gift Fayre

Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11

Find just the thing for mum at the gift fayre at the Gillingham centre, where there will be stalls featuring artisan gifts, jewellery, plants and locally produced fudge. The centre is open 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and from 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
