There will be royal feel to a Kent park's popular free festival taking place this Saturday.
The theme for this year’s English Festival in Medway is centred around the upcoming royal baby and royal wedding.
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is due to give birth any day, as she and Prince William welcome their third child to the family, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry on May 19.
Thousands of families are expected at the festival on Saturday (April 21), held to coincide with St George’s Day.
The fun-packed free day out celebrating English traditions will be running from 11am to 5pm at Riverside Country Park in Lower Rainham Road.
Attractions will include animal petting pens with a mobile farm experience, funfair rides, bingo, food stalls, shire horses, sheep shearing, games and crazy golf, live music and other entertainment, historical displays and craft tents.
There will also be Punch and Judy, St George and the dragon will be on stilts and visitors can take part in a town crier competition.
With car parking spaces in short supply there will be both park and ride and park and walk services during the day.
