New Fortnite Battle Royale Collection collectable toys go on sale with Smyths Toys
A new Fortnite collectables range is out and set to be the must-have stocking filler for young fans of the popular online game.
Parents with young gamers are expected to rush to get their hands on the latest toy release described as having 'limited availability'.
The range of collectable toys in the Fortnite Battle Royale Collection are available in Smyths Toys and predicted to soon sell-out.
The toy store has Kent branches in Aylesford, Ashford and on the Westwood Cross shopping complex in Margate.
Fortnite is an online video game first released in 2017 and developed by Epic Games.
It includes modes Fortnite: Save the World, a shooter-survival game where up to four players fight off creatures and defend objects with fortifications they can build, Fortnite Battle Royale a free-to-play battle game where 100 players fight to be the last person standing and Fortnite: Creative, where players are given complete freedom to create environments and battle arenas.
The 20 poseable 5cm figures in wave one of the release, which launched on Tuesday (December 11) by Moose Toys and Worlds Apart, include fan favourites such as Skull Trooper, Omega and Cuddle Team Leader.
They are designed for children aged eight and over.
Parents not able to snap-up the toys this week need not panic just yet as a second release of the toys is expected again at Smyths Toys on Monday, December 17 just in time for last-minute Christmas shoppers.
The toys can be bought in packs of one, two or as a 'squad' of four.
The Solo Mini Figures cost £4.99 each, £9.99 for a pack of two and £19.99 for four.
