Closing date for Kent’s Children’s Awards is Friday, May 17

For more than two decades, brave and courageous children in Kent have been championed by estate agent Wards.

The Children’s Awards every year celebrate those who are going above and beyond despite the challenges they face alongside recognition for the fundraisers, carers and charities supporting them.

And this year’s event, supported by the Kent Community Foundation and KM Media Group, will yet again bring a fantastic presentation event to the county later this year.

But this event can’t be a success without your nominations - and now there are just days left to get them to us.

The closing date for entries this year is Friday, May 17.

There are six categories open for nominations this year. Click here to nominate someone special you know.

And we need you to get in touch with us and tell us about a deserving child, charity or young carer who you think must be considered for a prestigious accolade.

Don’t forget the children raising money for good causes too - if you teach, are related to or are friends with a young fundraiser doing their bit to support a charity then please make us aware of them.

Wards managing director Aldo Sotgiu said: “We are privileged to be able to put on an event that celebrates the achievements of these truly inspiring young people and families.

“It also gives us the opportunity to acknowledge and commend some of the amazing grassroots charities, working tirelessly to make a difference to the lives of young people in our communities.

“Wards have been on Kent’s high streets for over 100 years and community has always been central to our approach. Our agents pride themselves on helping those less fortunate and supporting children and families through fundraising events and donations.”
