Coronavirus Kent: Children's author David Walliams to read a story from World's Worst Children at 11am

Enjoy elevenses with a story from much-loved children's author David Walliams.
The popular comedian, who has written tens of popular books for youngsters including Boy in a Dress, Billionaire Boy and Gangsta Granny, is reading aloud a story from his World's Worst Children collection each day online at 11am.
With schools closed and families now at home as a result of the coronavirus outbreak a growing number of personalities from the world of television and entertainment are attempting to keep the nation's children occupied.
The audio stories from and read by David Walliams are available to listen to through his website www.worldofdavidwalliams.com and will be available for free for 30 days. Families are requested to 'sit down, take a break and enjoy 20ish minutes of pure fun'.
Avid young book readers are also excitedly awaiting the release of his new book Slime, which is scheduled for release on Thursday, April 2.
The story is set on the Isle of Mulch, a little island home to a large number of horrible grown-ups.
The school, the local park, the toy shop and even the island’s ice-cream van are all run by awful adults who like nothing more than making children miserable.
