Smyths Toys in Kent unveils its top toys for Christmas 2019 including Nerf Fortnite, LOL Surprise Glamper and Lego Harry Potter Knight Bus
Smyths Toys Superstores has officially revealed what it thinks will be its top toys for Christmas this year.
The toy shop, which has branches across Kent including in Aylesford, Gillingham, Ashford and at Westwood Cross, has unveiled a chart of 10 toys which it believes will be top of children's wish lists. Scroll down for the full list and to watch the video.
There are some classic names amongst them with LEGO, Barbie and Nerf all featuring.
Nerf brings a new blaster inspired by the popular computer game Fortnite whilst LEGO has a Harry Potter-inspired bright purple The Knight Bus complete with swinging lights and a removable roof.
There is also a nod to two of 2019's biggest films with toys from both Toy Story 4 and the new Disney blockbuster Frozen 2. The Frozen 2 Arendelle Castle is also the most expensive toy in the list currently priced at £159.99.
Paw Patrol also finds itself with a toy in the top 10 again this year with its Command Centre widely expected to be popular with pre-schoolers.
Sinead Byrne, from Smyths Toys, said with a number of new toys on the market this winter, selecting an overall top 10 was tricky.
She explained: “With all of the fantastic new toys launched this year it was really difficult to pick a Top 10 but we got there!
"Forky, Cubby and Boppi have stolen our hearts this year and we are super excited for the Frozen Arendelle Castle that has just launched."
